Halloween Party

Liberty Tots will be hosting a HaLlOwEeN PaRtY on Friday, October 30. We encourage all parents to have their children wear costumes. During the party, we will have a candy hunt and potluck. All candy will be provided by Liberty Tots. We are asking for parents to please bring a treat or side dish for the children to share. A signup sheet will be available starting next week at playgroup.

Pumpkin Patch Visit

Liberty Tots will be visiting the local PuMpKiN PaTcH on Friday, October 16. The pumpkin patch is on Undley Road between Beck Row and Lakenheath Village. We will meet at RAF Lakenheath’s Youth Center at 10am to drive to the pumpkin patch. Please bring a few pounds to purchase your child(ren) a pumpkin if you choose.

All the Details

The number one rule is to have FUN! There are a few additional things that need to happen so playgroup can keep being just that PLAY!

If you've never joined us before, you are missing out! If you are unfamiliar with the base, here are some directions and a sorry excuse for a map, online maps aren't accurate for the area.
  • At light near Gate 2, enter Liberty Village (new housing).
  • Continue straight until you reach round about. Then go right, 3rd exit.
  • Follow that road straight back, then it will curve to the left. You will see the back of the Youth Center and a small parking lot.
  • Turn right after the small parking lot. This will lead you into the main parking lot.
  • Enter the building through the main doors.
  • Turn left after the snack bar area.
  • Enter the gym through the first set of double doors on your right.

The RAF Lakenheath Youth Center graciously allows Liberty Tots to use their facility weekly. Liberty Tots would just like to kindly remind all parents of some guidelines we need to follow to maintain a positive rapport with the center. The Youth Center has an adult bathroom with child changing capability. Please use this bathroom to change any child’s diaper. All trash needs to be put away in trash bins. If you are bringing your child a drink to group, then please bring only water in a spill proof container. Children should wear appropriate clothing including shoes and socks. Please supervise your children at all times while in the Youth Center including playgroup time. Thank you for your help.

Please don't hesitate to contact us for any question, comment or concern. We are always open to any ideas or suggestions to keep playgroup fun for everyone. Email littlelibertytots@yahoo.com or you can leave a comment on any of the posts on this blog.
